Week 4 Discussion: Open Exchange | MyPaperHub

One of the critical components of my doctoral study would be the recommendation for future research actions. Saunders, Lewis & Thornhill (2015) notes that any studies have some areas of weaknesses that impact on the validity and reliability of the findings and to ascertain the results obtained further research needs to be carried out on a topic of the study. In the case of my doctoral study, I will include information concerning areas that need further study as far as my research area is concerned. I will highlight weaknesses of my research and then make a recommendation on how they can be improved by carrying out another study on the same topic in the future using different approaches. For example, I will highlight the need for carrying out empirical research to ascertain the findings that I will have obtained in the course of my doctoral study.

Additionally, the reflection will be an important component of my doctoral study. In this component, I will provide information concerning the lessons that I will have learned in the process of completing my doctoral study on sustainability practices strategies in small business. For example, I will reflect how the research skills that I will have obtained and learned from my research process will be used in the future to bring positive social change or help to address various problems in the society. Also, the section will provide information concerning how the research process will have improved my ability to conduct a comprehensive and reliable research on different subjects. Thus, the reflection section will be aimed at helping to give a personal opinion concerning the entire doctoral research process and how it will have impacted me at personal and professional level.
