3-Discussion 1-Open Exchange
The
role of the researcher is an important component as far as completion of my
doctoral study is concerned. Saunders,
Lewis & Thornhill (2015) indicates that the role of the researcher during
the research process should be stated so as to make the findings of a study
reliable in nature. The role of the researcher component of my doctoral study
will aid in highlighting the role that as the researcher I will play when it
comes to completion of my study. It will highlight that I will be actively
involved in data collection and analysis process. It will also show that I will
be actively involved in ensuring that various research ethic issues are
observed, such as honesty and ensuring that participants take part in the
research process after signing an informed consent form. The component will
also help in highlighting the role that will be played by hired researchers to
aid in the process of data collection and analysis. The hired researchers will
help in avoiding research bias that might occur during the data analysis
process.
On
the other hand, ethical research is an important component of my doctoral
study. In this component, I will highlight various ethical issues that will be
considered during the process of completing my research. I will ensure that I
carry out research that is in line with research ethics, such as honesty,
seeking approval from the institution's research board, respecting the rights
of the participants. Therefore, this component will help in understanding
whether my doctoral study will be carried out in line with general ethical
principles or not. This means that ethical research component will help in
making my research process to be ethical.
