Ø   After carrying out an investigation on the current healthcare trends, I was able to find three blogs discussion issues related to trends in the field of healthcare. The three blogs included Medelita blog, Modern Healthcare blog and Health Affairs blog.

Ø  I decided to choose Health Affairs blog for purposes of analysis in this post. The URL of the blog is http://healthaffairs.org/blog/2017/02/01/a-look-forward-to-health-care-in-2017-top-five-trends/.

Ø  I googled the blog to get it. I googled the blog using the Google Search Engine.

Ø  The Health Affairs Blog is one that provides platform for individuals who are experts in matters related to healthcare issues and policy to make analysis and commentary on issues affecting the population. The author of the blog I selected from Health Affairs Blog is Susan DeVore. Susan is healthcare expert and currently is the CEO and president of Premier Inc. Susan is a person who is actively involved in trying to engage healthcare stakeholders in developing best practices as well as solutions that can aid in supporting of efficient, sustainable and high-quality care delivery approaches.

Ø  The blog focuses on the key five trends that will affect the provision of healthcare in the U.S in 2017.

Ø  The posting of this blog is relevant to the topic of the blog. The posting of the blog provides information concerning the key trends that are going to affect the healthcare delivery in 2017, such as issue related to change in Obama care. Therefore, the blog gives what it promises in it topic.

Ø  The blog touches on current issues. For example, it touches on the issue of Obama care which is one the current issue being faced in the American society, particularly the planned interruption on the way this act works as far as ensuring availability of affordable care is concerned.

Ø  This blog will be useful in my area of personal interest as it will help in understanding the prevailing trends in the field of healthcare delivery and how they might impact on the quality of care, which is a critical area of personal interest.
