You have to play the role of an African American, democrat, senator, and write about their beliefs of the immigration reform proposal. What they like about it, what they don\'t, and whether or not they would vote for it or against it.
The paper is primarily an overview of the immigration reforms that the senate is proposing to implement in order to safeguard the interests of the immigrants and control the immigration rate in the United States. The reforms are meant to allow the immigration department controls the number of people that enters or leaves the country by enforcing the law they have to meet. The paper have addressed some reforms that need to be done on the immigration laws that the senator propose to put in place. It is to ensure they fit for all and the safeguards the interests of the state as a whole. The paper also recommends for elimination of some laws and gives a concrete reason as to why the law should be eliminated.
From the reforms on immigration, the reform against prohibitions against racism and ineffective utilization of force should be enhanced. Enhancement of border patrol agent training, the increment of the oversight and development of channels that will enhance meaningful opportunity for the border communities to share he input and inclusion of the critiques. The reform will simulate the protection of borders and fig against racial discrimination whereby people will be treated as equal regardless of their racial backgrounds (Proper, 2013). Training of the border agents is a way of making them more equipped with suitable ways through which they can enhance security at the borders that will account for security of the whole state. Reform on immigration that requires all people to enter or leave the country as the law requires will help in fighting against illegal immigration that is a great threat to the welfare of the whole state. This will ensure that the immigration department in United States is in a position to have a control over all people entering all leaving the country with no any hindrances (Immigration laws, 2012).
The reform of allowing the Americans to hire he immigrants into various job positions should be amended. The reform should put specific requirements for the people who immigrate into United States. It will ensure that Immigration department is in a position to regulate the movement of people into and out of the country (American Journal of Nursing,2003). Te reform should also put some limitations for the people that move into the country in order to reduce the number of people ha moves into the United States. Amendment of this law will also help the American workers o hire the immigrants as per the requirements of immigration rules thus reducing the cases of illegal immigration (Davies, 2001).
The reform on improvement of the legal immigration system and attraction of the brightest and the best people from all over the world needs to be eliminated. It is for the reason many people who are from United States will be displaced from their working sites or even be hindered from acquiring some opportunities in various levels of professionalism (Farnam, 2005). The reform should include some measures and laws that must be met by all people who come to work in United States. The reform should safeguard the interests of American people in the area of employment to ensure they are not denied access to various jobs (Johnson, 2009).
In conclusion, the senate should be keen when implementing some of the immigration laws. They should ensure that various amendments are made on the proposed reforms as a way. His will ensure that these reforms have no negative impacts to the welfare of the state and the immigrants themselves.
